The Automobile Training Centre of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narendrapur provides training in National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) recognized Mechanic Motor Vehicle certificate course. It is known as well for providing free or sponsored training to school dropouts in association with various private and government agencies. It keeps pace with the modern developments in motor industry and offers training. Not only that, this Centre operates also a registered Motor Driving in order to achieve driving licenses.

Being properly trained, many poor trainee achieve placement with reputed concerns, such as ONGC and TATA Motors. Besides, as part of Toyota Technical Education Programme(T-TEP), Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. Offers advanced training on its products, with a view to absorbing them in their Dealer’s Workshop.

The Automobile Training Centre is Affiliated to NCVT. Its affiliation no. is DGET-6/15/78-TC, and its Institute Code is 19000013. The Directorate of Industrial Training, Technical Education & Training Department, Govt. of West Bengal. Controls examination and issues certificates for its course.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE: Trainees are admitted on basis of marks obtained in the Admission test conducted by Automobile training centre of Ashrama. Only Madhyamik pass boys are eligible to get admission. Admission is done in alternate years. Age limit from 17 years to 30 years. Forms for next session will be issued from 2nd May 2016 at the Institute office Automobile Training Centre at Narendrapur.
